Join us at the MODUM Conference on 24th September 2014

The MODUM conference “Building the Bridge from Research to Sustainable Urban Transport Management” will take place on Wednesday, 24 September 2014, from 09:30 am to 04:30 pm, at the Nottingham Trent University Conference Centre in Nottingham, UK.

The agenda of the event provides researchers and practitioners with manifold opportunities to exchange knowledge on the latest research results and technologies, as well as practical experiences in the field of urban transport and traffic management:

MODUM will show how the results of the project support cities’ transport and traffic operators to manage urban traffic more efficiently, and how citizens can benefit from environmentally-conscious multi-modal routing information. In addition, representatives of three other interesting projects, the UK project STRIDE, and the European projects HoPE and Push&Pull, will present their innovative approaches to sustainable urban mobility, and speakers from Transport Systems Catapult (UK) and from iNet (UK) will explain how they support stakeholders with preparing and submitting winning European applications and show the regional funding possibilities that are actually available for innovative transport applications. Round table discussions will encourage the participants to bring in their practical experiences and personal view regarding good practice and promising approaches as well as barriers, practical obstacles, and further research needs in the field of sustainable urban transport management.

Participation at the event is free of charge, but registration is required.
